Any golfers out there?  I need some help with selecting Christmas presents for my non-Ducati riding but insanely addicted to golf playing boyfriend please.  I know ZERO about golf and its mods, accessories, and bling.  Help?  Anyone?

He has plenty of balls (yes, I giggled when I typed that), I am more looking for stuff like shoes, pants, shirts, etc.  I tried googling "what brands and styles do the pros wear" but that was all over the place.  Also, is the Garmin GPS golf watch thingy worth the money?  What are the cool "accessories"?  I am so clueless.  :-\

A gift certificate to the pro shop at his favorite course.

"Don't piss off old people The older we get, the less 'Life in Prison' is a deterrent.”

That probably would be the most practical way about it  :), but feels impersonal.  Much more fun to open an actual present.  This would be so much easier if he was a Duc enthusiast.

Then get him this outfit...

he has a sense of humor...right? ;D

He does, and that would be awesome!  ;D He knows I am clueless about anything to do with golf. Put those wrapped under the tree, and not bring out the "real" gifts til much later [evil]

Actually though, have you seen some of the stuff the golfers wear?  It doesn't look much different than that even now  :-\

Awesome! [clap] That movie is such a classic!  I remember seeing it when it came out in theaters.  Still want to get some "real" things too though.

If it's just a casual thing - two classic books that every golfer should own and live by:

Ben Hogan's Five Lessons - The Modern Fundamentals of Golf

Harvey Pennick's Little Red Book

But..........if you really love him, get him a nice Scotty Cameron putter and you'll spoil him forever for other women.  Can't have too many putters.

Good advice.

I'm not particularly fond of GPS devices but I would recommend a good range finder.

Clothes are good also.  He'll like anything you you get him golf related.  I know I would.

A track day....that'll help him kick that nasty golf habit.
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

No.

He'll just wind up with two addictions.   ;D Trust me.
