I just got my insurance renewal for my 2009 Monster 1100S and its $871 for the year. Kind of pricey I think. It includes collision and comprehensive and all the other bells and whistles that the Republic of MA requires. How does it compare to other Monster owners here?

Cheers,

I'm in Ma as well, same bike, same year and coverage and roughly the same amount that I paid last year. I'm switching to progressive This spring , they quoted me in the mid $600's .

Ok, so maybe it's just MA that is so expensive when it comes to insuring these bikes. I looked at Progressive but didn't like the way they settle some claims. Thanks for all the info.

I have Progressive and had a claim on my Bimota, and I could not be happier with they way they handled it.

I don't really see what you are all comparing without a location.

You're about the 5th person online, I've seen say USAA.  I'm curious, when i checked USAA, because my car is insured through them, they stopped doing motorcycles and sent you progressive.  So are you a grandfather plan?
