Is this logo custom or is there a font?

My eyes hurt from searching for a font which is it/similar  :P

If it's a font I've never seen a name for it.

You can try this site and see if any of their suggestions give you what you want.

Pretty sure it's custom... You never having seen it as a font supports that  8)

Have you tried emailing Ducati?  You're probably right about being custom to them, but might have an official name. You could also design your own based off it?

it has a part # from older bikes . . . might be able to give you said # by tomorrow . . . lemme know

Does that mean as the DUCATI logo or as a complete font 'family'/alphabet ++ ?

If I decide to use this 'font', I'd need the full font.

just the logos . . .
I have a friend who did for me the "double etched" 80's logo for my bike . . . he has all sort of software and can replicate most logos and full alphabet

Thanks - I did and it's not close enough... As it seems, also copyright'ed...

Most likely to go for a totally different font. With the number of letters we're using, it's not going to look good with the extra bold/heavy fonts.

 this might be close enough if you not too picky. The old Cagiva "font" is pretty close might do a alt search for that.

I am redoing the 1998 st2 which had the cagiva font with the modern ducati font and numbering. Looking for a stock modern look. All those fonts are free ;)
