When I was an apprentice (nearly 40 years ago) the leading hand was just about to retire.
this was one of the last things he made.
He said he saw it made when he was a young fella back in the old country... he was a POM.

He made it from brass, and didn't use the hot glue.
I dont think it would be that hard if you had the correct dimensions...

Seriously, I want one.  What I really want is time and equipment to make my own, but that won't happen in the next decade or two, so instead, I want someone to make me one.
