Group ride to Indy MotoGP

I am leading a group of six bikes to the MotoGP event at Indianapolis. We are leaving Charleston, SC September 10th(Wed.). Traveling through the upstate of SC on I-26, through NC mountains, Asheville, and up to Bristol, TN for the overnight stay(350+mi). Leaving Thurs. morning from Bristol to Indy(425+mi).

I am looking for fun alternative routes instead of super slab all the way, including the Tail of the Dragon if possible, Blueridge Pkwy, and any other excellent twisties. I am hoping you guys will chime in with suggestions and absolutely can't miss roads along the way.

I'm desperately trying to get this Monster hammered out...........LOL! We shall see if I make it happen........either way I'm going though. Bought my ticket yesterday.

I think I'll be coming down, heading from the other direction though (Detroit) maybe some of us can meet up.

about 100 for general admission and around 200 for "nicer" areas on motogp.com

That depends if you want to be in the "Ducati Only Section" or not, that includes a parade lap of the track on the bikes too.

Once you guys get to Indy on Thursday make sure to stop by the Ducati Indianapolis, we are having a party there that night.

Yea Mario, we are planning on making that party Thursday. Thanks for all the info you and the Hooligans have put up. Any word on whether or not a factory rider will chat us up? Look forward to meeting everyone!

Yeah, thanks, now I'm not sure my bike will be ready in time... I'd ride it broken if I could at least get a footpeg.
