It's a pretty amazing feat given the distance, sure, but I'd like to see how far a bone stock sled would make it.

The ski stance on that sled is very narrow and they're tucked up tight to the bellypan (little or no front suspension), and it almost looks like the track hangs out of the tunnel pretty far (maybe rigid as well).

Just me picking nits, having crossed small bodies of open water (i.e. creeks) on a normal sled and knowing how tricky it can be.....  ;) A little water on the drive clutches or in the airbox and it's submarine time....

You probably can't just enjoy a magician without trying to figure out 'how' the trick is done.  :D

They weren't sure. He was running two throttles just in case, but it lost fuel for some reason.
