The question was whether you saw it the first time around...in 1969...or is your perspective more recent?

Well,

Don't own a 250, and I'm not fast enough.
Could be a Euro guy if I had more money.
Got a pony tail.
Do wear gear, and own too much.
Comfort ain't bad.
Don't wheelie and am much to old for "kid".
Ain't so fast, just halfast.
Sure ain't track day only.
Don't own a classic.

AH!  Now I understand.  No... I was 4 in 1969.  Probably saw it for the first time aboot 15 years ago... and I probably need to revisit again.

Not to sidetrack the OP too much... but I rather like watching older movies and try to view them with the perspective of the time when they were released.  Sometimes it works, sometimes I just wonder what people saw in some of these movies.

I was only 5. ;D Watched the film for the first time in my early teens.

As I get older my Squid episodes of momentary loss of reason become fewer and fewer.

I saw it the first time around.  At the time most of us didn't much like the movie and thought Peter Fonda was a pussy.
