Top Gear was a great show. Some episodes were great (see Vietnam special), others were just ok. I would not be motivated to get Amazon Prime just to watch it, but since I alrady subscribe, I'll be watching on Fridays.

I don't particularly like the "American".

Watched the second episode last night. I like it, very reminiscent of TG, but I just can't get past the idiocy of "The American". Look dude, just drive the car, nobody wants to hear your hillbilly banter...

Unfortunately we're stuck with him. They're not going to go back and redub Clarkson talking over him. This might change for season 2.

I much preferred the first episode to the second one. I think they'll be back to "normal" by the 6th show.

BTW, this is still much better compared to what TG turned into.

Haven't seen a single "new" TG episode.
