There are shorter ones as well from the S4 airbox.  You'd have to add some sort of spacer ring below the bellmouth for the filter to clamp to...
And I guess you'd retain the elbow/hoses?

The motowheels kit claims about 5 hp and 6 lbs torque increase "with ecu tuning" for two valve motors.  What's the typical increase from an ecu reflash alone?
