In case some of you didn't know the whole story. I Just saw this on ML's homepage. Way to go  [leo]

As some of you know, our Dallas store was broken into last month. Due to a Moto Liberty Sleuth employee spotting some of our merchandise on Ebay, one thing lead to another. In the end, due to a very diligent Dallas PD Detective and undercover officer's exhaustive efforts, two very bad burglars are in jail for a very long time due to the amount of merchandise stolen (well over 10K). About 80% of the merchandise was returned to us. Not all of it was in perfect condition and those items will be the focus of our sale.

We were going out there anyway to replace my helmet and saw they had a bunch of full race suits, a few jackets (not in my size), some boots and other stuff out on the balcony. Not a bad little sale.

Saw Peter there. He had a brace on his wrist with one of those electronic shocking things hooked up to it. Other than that he seemed to be moving around ok.

I was thinking of heading up to ML this coming weekend to try on a few suits and get that cooling vest that Kevin mentioned

What Happened to Peter? He always seemed like a really nice guy. Very Helpful both at AMS and ML.

What Happened to Peter?

Moto Liberty USED to have a smart car. Peter hit a curb with it (Yes, a curb) the damn thing rolled over and he totaled it. He's just banged up. I don't think anything was broken but he got jostled pretty good. I asked him if he still thought they were safe when it came to running into things.

He said, "Well it all depends on what you hit. I mean, if you hit ANOTHER Smart car or maybe a skateboarder, you'd be fine."

I think he's STILL a really nice guy.  Just my 2 cents, though...

No one knows. At least they are not saying if they do know. Peter doesn't seem to know either. I agree with you. My dealings with Peter were fantastic. Super helpful, very nice, very knowledgable, go out of his way to make something happen, was tons of help with the Back in Black make over, on and on. Never saw him act any differently with anyone else. Ever. It's Jeff and Toni's business (obviously) and I suppose they could fire you if they didn't like your t-shirt you had on. I'm sure they had their reasons. Timing damn sure could have been better. Susan was very ill at the time in Baylor Hospital and they had just moved into their loft behind D/AMS a day or so before or after, can't remember which. It's been right at a year and it's still a mystery.

Oh well, his same helpful, good natured self is alive and well at Moto Liberty. Mo better for them. [thumbsup]

Oh, I think there are two interpretations of what you're asking here Steve. Did you mean, what happened that he's not at AMS anymore or what happened to him because he had a brace on his wrist?
