When it kicked off four years ago, it felt kind of gimicky, but I'm growing fonder of this holiday treat.

Some fun facts from my failing memory...

Though Marquez and Baker were both on Hondas,  there seemed to be some suggestion of Marquez using traction control and could be seen in two of his heats adjusting a bar mounted dial.   No confirmation on his set up.

Toni Elias turned the fastest lap of the race on the Suzuki and was my dark horse for the upset win.   I am a fan of the way that guy races.

AMA is considering making full leathers mandatory in flat track.   Not sure if it covers all displacements and classes.     

I ride both kinds,   Country, and Western.....
