Summer gloves... what do you wear?

I just bought some Frank Thomas gloves a few weeks ago to replace the old summer gloves I lost and boy are they horrible. There's already a rip in the cloth near where the velcro attaches and the threads in the seams are already coming apart. What crap  [bang]

Does anyone have any good summer gloves they can recommend. Hopefully some that won't fall apart by the end of the season.

Thanks

Dainese "Hellracer" are great.  I picked them up a couple of months ago and they're breaking in nicely, look good, aren't too expensive ($135) and Dainese have a great reputation in the industry for quality products.  I expect them to last a long time; they certainly seem very well made.
If it's got two wheels and a motor, I like it!

I bought a pair of Icon Merc shorties for the summer.  So far so good.  It seems like others around here have good things to say about these gloves as well.

I have their merc long gloves.  They are NOT summer gloves.
I use some A* SMX gloves.

Not the most protective, but pretty cool and comfy and they seem to be holding up well.

They have some great stuff.  I have a pair of summer gloves going on 2 years and they are flawless.  Theydo tend to run a little small....  I normally wear a L but needed the XL

I purchased some ICON Arc gloves I beleive. They are short perforated leather. For me they are great. I find that most Icon products are pretty good quality and the prices aren't too bad. I paid 70 for mine.

I wear a pair of Lee Parks Designs deer skin shorties.  They are not the most stylish, but they regulate the temp of hands really well.

They also have no interior seams, only 4 seams on the entire glove!!!  Made in USA, too.

The exterior seam on the index finger doubles a squegie in a light rain.   [cheeky]

I go with the Icon Pursuit glove.  It's perforated and has good looks, for about $55.

Painted exhaust cans, painted belt and sprocket covers, shortened rear fender, cf side panels, hugger and heel guards,
removed evap cannister, Napoleon barend mirrors, black DML crankshaft cover - it's wicked dark

I snagged a set of A* SP-S gloves for summery short range/around town rides.

For more serious stuff I stick with my A* GP gloves.  Despite being full Gauntlets they don't turn my hands to sweat pruney pulp

I've got a pair of Sledge Alpinestars and love them!  Anything  lighter and you might as well not wear any.  Run a little small..

I love these gloves! I used to use A* SMX?# but they didn't last as long as i would have hoped. So I took a chance with RS TaiChi and have been a fan ever since.
