I parked my bikes in the living room, because it sits a couple feet higher than the garage, and bailed. I've sat through 3 before. Not fun! It's like listening to a train going by for 3 straight days.

My sisters made it through OK. Bobby, my nieces dog, passed away during the storm. He was old and had heart issues.  :'(

My Dad in Jacksonville got the worst of it in the form of flooding. He is in a SNF (skilled nursing facility) and they flooded.

My Florida family is good. A ton of tree limbs on their roof and yards.

Irma, now a tropical storm, is now going through Georgia. Some are without power, mostly in souther/coastal GA.

I'll be on my PC until the power goes out, then I'll be entertaining the kids with board games.

One would think we've evolved enough as a species where we no longer feel the need to stick metrologists and camera operators out in the wind during hurricanes.
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

^^ Blame it on Dan Rather. He started that shit in 61 with Carla.

Ya think?  They had one guy tethered to a column so he wouldn't blow away!

At least strap on a wing-suit and lash yourself to the dock with about 100 feet of rope to make it entertaining.

All good here. Just need to clean up branches that fell from my neighbor's tree
