Looks spectacular!  I'd love to visit, however my 6 year-old only eats pizza, spaghetti and chicken "nuggets."  Do you restaurants serve any of those?   [laugh]

I like the football field that looked like it was somehow blasted out of solid rock.

A beautiful country.

Does anyone rent descent motorcycles stopintime?  If so I'd be up for renting if you guide.  A week long enough?

You'd have to stay in the Southern half of Norway, but that is ok regarding scenery, roads, hotels and all that matters.
I can give you routes, tips and help with logistics (airport pick up, luggage storage, drive to and from the rental place ++). Maybe even join you...

I know of only one, but there might be more. These are the bikes they had available this year - might be others next year. One week ~$ 1,000 - 1,500. Not 100% sure about forreigners renting (insurance/license validity), but that's easy enough to find out.

Thanks.  I'll start looking into this one.  I'll be in Spain for a while and can make the trip up easily.  Will keep you posted and maybe we can meet up and eat Polar Bear for dinner.  :o

Let me know  [thumbsup]

I started a google map, but it's worthless since it refuses to plan a trip over closed mountain roads... of which there are many now during winter. We'll get back to that too.

How long you in Spain for?  I'm heading for about two months this spring.

And Norway is definitive near the top of my travel list.  After meeting two Norwegians in Peru last year I was sold.

Sorry to disappoint, nate, but they were men.  Hirsute hippie mountain-climbing men.
