Is the lack of charisma or the domination of one rider and one manufacturer an official problem as DORNA sees it? Obviously not because if Rea’s domination was viewed as an issue then assuredly DORNA would create a stepping stone for Rea to move into MotoGP and open WSBK back up. But he has had little opportunity there. This is the reality.

...because Dorna is motivated by money, and there's more money for Dorna with Rae in SBK.

And I disagree about the issue with Rossi retiring. In fact, having Rossi “struggle” the past 2 seasons, has allowed his fans an opportunity to see what the other riders are bringing. The rabid fans might not come back, but the more casual Rossi fans will simply find the next best rider as long as it’s not MM
