Bike dies when hot.

Bike runs well for about thirty minutes then putters then only idles then dies.  Two hours of sitting and she runs fine again.  Bike ran well all summer up until recently when I had removed tank and carbs to repair throttle.  I did notice a crack in one of the vent lines right before the pod.  Also the hose from the right side of beer can canister behind shock is unattached.  I can’t see where it supposed to attach and could not find it in manual or parts catalog.  Any chance that is the cause?
I had rebuilt the fuel pump last year and replaced most of the fuel lines this past spring.
Suggestions?

I'll bet you $50 bucks you have a kinked/blocked tank vent line.

You mean the hose from tank to charcoal canister box?  It isn't kinked when tank is up and I never gave it a thought.  I will check it.

Next time the bike stops, open the fuel cap. If you hear a whooshing sound the line, or the tube inside the tank, is kinked or clogged.

Tried that each time it failed, no whoosh and no improvement.  I tried starting with tank vertical, zip.  She would sometimes start but if I opened throttle it would immediately die.

Does it run with a full tank but fail when the tank is half empty?

Does one cylinder die abruptly and the other stall later?

The tank has not been completely filled since before problem started.  I do not think it begins in one cylinder.  The only constant is that it occurred on warm 80+ degree days.  But it might just take longer on a cooler day.
SOLVED (I think):  I replaced the fuel lines and problem has not recurred.

When the bike dies check for how much fuel is in the float bowls.

Drain screw

Also inspect the fuel for contamination.  Not enough fuel?  Bad pump or, if you still have it, vacuum fuel shut off.  Other possibilities are fuel filter, the filter at the carb inlet or the filters in the lines going from the pods to the carbs.

Also, if the bike still does have the fuel vacuum shut off replace it with a manual petcock.

Beer can canister?  One hose goes to the tank, the other just vents to air.  You can get rid of it!
