I've gotta say, MM riding with a bit of plumber's tape and a few deck screws holding his arm together, that's pretty epic level head case.

Honestly, it's not that surprising to me that he did it, it's disappointing that there was nobody in his circle that could sit him down and talk him out of it.

Bagnaia using a cane/brace to walk around the pits. (Rossi did that before) Then getting on one of the most evil MotoGP bikes and running a spectacular race. This is not normal human behavior. Athletes have always amazed me as to how much they can endure and still perform at or near their best.
