Good thing you know a guy with a machine shop. :P

Radiator hard lines under the truck. We got both of these bent and fit with almost no fuss. Only one radius needed a slight unbending.

I needed some cool nuts to hold my battery box lid on place. Wing nuts wouldn't do it. Need pointy.

I don't have more pics of it currently but I bought a cheap aluminum vacuum manifold of Amazon and it only came with one end cap and I need two. It did, however, come with hose barbs that screw into the ends.  I turned one of them into an end cap by band sawing the barb off, flattened it with a sander and welded the hole closed, then dressed it on the sander again. I'll powder coat it black to match the black anodized manifold.

Will there be a shield of sorts for the radiator lines that aren't steel?

No plan for one since it's on road only.

Makes sense, and now that I look again, I see that it is towards the rear, so less chance of damage from road debris.

A really inspirational project!  There has to be a better word than inspirational but I don't know what it is.  Just curious what welding machine are you using?  I have an old Miller 250HF that I use for TIG and it seems everyone else is using  newer inverter machines.  Also, I saw your pic with the foot pedal between your knees.  I haven't tried one of those slider or thumb wheel controls but they might be useful.

Glad you like the build so far.

At home I have an old Miller synchrowave 180sd, non inverter and a 255amp century mig welder.

At my friend's shop I've been using his Everlast inverter tig and it's a bad lady.  Lots of adjustments my 180sd doesn't have.

I can do ac/dc  and adjust the cleaning/pen on ac but that's it other than amperage.

The Everlast machine let's you adjust ac frequency as well which has a huge affect on the bead in aluminum.

I've found mild steel to be the most finicky and even with his fancy machine I had trouble keeping it from getting way too hot. That's more about technique and hanging around with people that know that they're doing has helped me tremendously.

I have a thumb wheel for my machine at home.  I hate it and use the pedal. It's all preference.

Thigh master style actually works pretty well and is really more controllable than you'd think. Try it on some practice tacks some time. You may be surprised.
