speaking of helmets... i ride with a full face but have been thinking about the 3/4 ones. those city monter helmet type?

anyone ride with those? how's the protection?

i remember reading that something like 25% of all accidents involve hitting your chin on something.


and, i've watched people eat through a straw before.

yeah the idea of my jaw wired shut isn't so pleasing... so it's  a scratch on the helmet with no chin bar.

Not required by 'experienced' riders here in Pennsylvania (gumint must believe in natural selection).

Mine saved my life once - I think.  Got beaned head-on by an errant tee shot while riding past a golf course...
