so, i'm on my third glass of cointreau...on the rocks, and it's really not half bad.  i mean it's no busmills or dewars/J&B, but it's not bad straight.  i know you're saying "wtf, why are you drinking that stuff straight", and you're right....and i figured i would hate it...but i'm finishing off the last of the liquor cabinet before the move (oh, p.s. to jesus: tell lou she may want to bring along some booze...i have pretty much none right now)...but it's really not bad.  granted, i feel like i've had about 20 cans of orange fanta, but it's pretty damn good.  damn my love for you, alcohol.  sometimes, i wish i was more discriminate... but then i wouldn't be able to enjoy the greats like jim beam, neat.  man, i need to make a run to the liquor store one of these days....

Damn, I just had a glass of Johnny Black on the rocks... It was damn good.

I've had that cointreu concoction you speak of. I tasted it and proceeded to light it on fire. Granted it was over a Nutella filled Crepe, but still, that shit is nasty. It does leave a nice taste on the crepe though.

You my friend, are an Alcohol whore, willing to suck on anything that will give you the buzz that you want. I will have to bring by some Venezuelan rums and Cuban cigars so you can learn to discriminate alcohol properly.

THings could be worse. Cointreau is actually the upscale version of Triple Sec... so you could be drinking that which would be way worse. I have had the unfortunate experience of drinking far too much of both as a pathetic pre-teen when it was all that was left in my mom's liqour cabinet. When I told her about it years later, she replied "EWWW, that stuff is terrible. I would have bought you booze to save you from that!" so ya, pretty bad.
next time, put it in some red wine with a bit of fresh squeezed OJ and 7-UP - it's surprisingly delicious and refreshing.

Alrightie, McKraut, we will bring you some good booze for putting us up fa sheezy.
