As the title say, I'm a poor lonesome Frenchy lost in this forum which seems great.

I live in Paris, and I'm longing to buy a monster 696 as my first bike. It's gonna be LE-GEN-DA-RY!

Welcome, Paris is a beautiful city, I stayed in Montparnasse (sp?). Driving there is crazy, that would be nuts on a bike, be safe bro!
