Am I crazy? The fuel pump seems much louder than before

I fixed the idle on my 695 by turning the air bleed screws almost a full revolution a piece.  No choke finally and I'm idling at 1000-1100 rpm.  It worked.  It should still be in sync or close to it since I turned both screws equally.

However, maybe I'm crazy, but it seems I can hear the fuel pump or something under the ignition alot more now.  It's volume seems to have gone up.  That airy hissing sound when the engine is running.  I'm not a gearhead so I don't know what the sound is but it appears to be the fuel pump/fuel injection or something.  Anyway, it's either louder now or I've just never paid much attention to it before.  Would adjusting the air bleed screws do that? Not sure if it's related but "Air Bleed" is definetely what it sounds like and there seems to be more of it now.

I rode the bike about 30 miles last night after the adjustment and it runs fine.
