Too many colors on this bike IMO: red, while, black, green and gold.  Loose the green stripes and paint over the checkered flag and Ducati emblem on the sides of the tank.  Oh, and replace the red brake lines with black ones.

forget the red.  black out the swing arm, the clutch housing and the alternator housing on the other side and the rear sets and call it a day.

Thanks. Those are all on the to do list this winter. I keep trying to decide if I want to do anything different with the frame and wheels though.

I think I'm leaning in that direction. I really like the look of the Monster 695 with the black tank and red frame. Imo thats the best color combo ever offered on the Monster.

That's the problem right there-it's offered. It'd even match my wife's bike.

Your right, it was offered but my tank is considerably different with the Italian flag colors running over it and the checkered flag on the side.

I really like the gold as well but if I do it in gold I'm going to feel like it's not complete unless I do the wheels in the same color.

You can hang me for harrasy, but I say why change it.  Looks great as-is.  The rim stripes added a lot.

In case you do go gold though, I'd be happy to chip in to buy you a matching pimp-cup.

i say if you want a red frame, go buy an s2r800 frame that is already red or better yet, buy a 620 frame that has a clean title, powdercoat it red and dolt it up. It will be super cheap ins.
