Hey flounders,
if this gets enough press, could we get it stickied or something?

anyway,

two weeks ago i learned that if the speedo sensor wiring gets too hot, the speedo doesnt work. i found this out when my speedo crapped out 1/2 way through a group ride that i was on. stopped to try and figure it out, and traced the wiring from the rear wheel sensors back to the connection under the tank hinge (although its stock position is a little different i think). the connection was sitting on the exhaust, very warm. moved it to a different location, and the speedo worked fine after that. [thumbsup]
