Okay so I got the DP levers from SS and wondering how hard are they to install/adjust?  Also been looking around but can't seem to come up with any good info/instructions...This is what I found http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=8549.0 any info (torques, things to lookout for, etc.) will be appreciated...replacing them doesn't seem too complicated but adjusting them has me worried don't want to end up going through someone's windshield cause i couldn't stop or not being able to shift from first...(BTW I'm replacing both clutch/brake levers)

Thanks!

I haven't replaced levers. Some might be harder than others. How much would South Seas charge to install them?

One thing I have noticed about DP parts is that they never seem to come with instructions. I guess they assume the buyer knows what they are doing or that a shop tech is going to do the work.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

HOLY SHIT!!  Mike lives!!   ;D

Sorry, don't have anything constructive to add here, just had to inject a little misplaced excitement.

Work has been a b**ch hence I have not been able to meet you guys for any of the JJ rides...I bought the seat cowl and the levers and so far no luck on installing either of them, the levers turned out to be more complicated than the previously thought (I'll have to do some more research and see...) and the cowl didn't not come with brackets so I ordered those from www.monsterparts.com so hopefully they'll be here next week...also saw these http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=8573.0 and was thinking about getting them but not sure how a chrome exhaust would look on a dark monster (or even if they would actually fit)...

You are not allowed to put Vance & Hines pipes on your Monster!

as long as the pivots are the correct size, they'll bolt right up. the coffins use the large hole pivots.

adjusting is pretty straighforward, but the main issue you'll have is getting around the clutch safety switch. the OE lever has a tang that extends under to click that switch when you pull the clutch in... you'lll see it bolted underneath the clutch master cylindar

there's a couple of ways to bypass it completely. they way I did was pretty much... free...
