Hi,
My name is Duane.  I've been a long time lurker on TOB, and more recently here.

I have a 2003 Monster 620 Dark.  Previous motos include:  1982 Suzuki GS 550 E, 1980 Yamaha IT 175, 197? minibike

I live in Central NH.  Most of my riding is commuting.  My commute 43 miles one way, no interstate, 4 traffic lights, virtually no traffic for the first 30 miles.  It's not a bad ride, and I have a few good options for when I take the long road home.

Most of my recreational riding is on my mountain bike.  I used to also ride MTB trials, but my body can't take it now.  Road only when trails are not an option.

Weather, work, chores, etc. have meant no riding for me in last few weeks, so I'm starting to get ornery.  I've also spent more time reading here, so I thought I'd put up my intro.

Belated thanks to founders, and all the contributors here.  It's nice to have a place to go when I can't get out and ride.

Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty, and the pigs like it...

Welcome Duane, you'll find there are quite a few of us who appreciate both kinds of bikes. :)

Hope things clear up for you, and you can get back onto two wheels. [thumbsup] [moto]

Hi herm,
I hope you're right with the weather this weekend.  I haven't looked that far ahead yet.  Lately it's been hard to predict the weather for the next hour much less the next couple of days.

Give me a shout if you're riding north some time.

Thanks msincredible -- it's nice to get a shout from a super.
I'm glad both kinds of bikes are appreciated (at least by some).  Some of my non-moto buddies give me a hard time about riding a bike with a motor.  I think it's because they're jealous  ;)

Where in central NH Duane?
hey dp,
Plymouth.  We exchanged PM's a few years ago on TOB.  At the time I was in the midst of moving and re-doing the kitchen and didn't have much free time.  Well, the kitchen still isn't quite done [roll] but I need to make time to get out and play.

Hi, Duane!

For a moment there, it was sounding as if you were doing an AA-style intro.
