There was actually no "recover" on my part. It just broke loose, slid a bit and then grabbed again. Very short action but still more than I've felt before.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Uh-huh. Got a new clutch feel. Getting a little more hooked up now. Pulling in tighter to the group. Yep. It is fun.  [thumbsup]

Looks like we were blessed yesterday boys. It started raining on & off from around 7:20 last night and is still on and off this morning. Wet all the way into work and raining as I type.

Luckily, I missed the rain in the afternoon...I had to stop at K-Bay and had lunch time to kill, so I drove my car through 13 corners and Norfolk for a little fun (no worries, I was courteous to the neighbors).  I need to take my bike up there during the week to get more comfortable in the corners, so the guys won't have to wait on me after every run.   [Dolph]

One day, when I have the Hyper out, we should swap bikes and go through our roads. I did that with Gene and it seemed he was noticeably more comfortable and faster afterwards. When you have a comparatively easy bike to ride under you then you can learn the roads better without having to fight the bike so much. Once one part gets easier then the other part follows. Hard road plus hard bike just makes things that much tougher. You'll get there.  [Dolph]

Thanks, I'll take you up on the offer.  I'm still enjoying learning on the bike...the fun factor is what's important to me.  :-)  Well, back to work...I'll be at Pearl Harbor all week.

Maybe I'll bring out the Beemer.

Nice, you got it in working order.  See you in the morning.

It sure is rainy out there but I'm going to take the car into the shop and get out the bike if it looks good.
