So when does the Gerbing heated gear group buy happen?  ;D

The boring German cycle forums all seem to like the Widder vests better - they seem to get great service if there are problems - and many comment that the fit seems better - and they like the heated sleeves ( which connect to the vests & chaps too.  Of course they are probably also riding on ice with lugged tires - not the standard thing in Texas.  I have never tried either but I would like a heated vest for sure !

Can you not put the little vest implants in the microwave to heat them up for winter? ;)

I know you are kidding Ron but be sure your fire insurance is paid up before you micrwave those Phase Change paraffin packs!  You'd probably be better off opening and drinking the stuff to keep warm!  Just kidding !  [cheeky] [cheeky]

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Paraffin, is that what's in there??  What's it blended with for it to be liquid at room temp?

Kevin,

Picked up the vest today at ML. Thanks again for putting the deal together for all of us... very nice. [thumbsup] Asked if you were around but they said you had left. You must have told them to say that if anyone asked! [laugh] Haven't had a chance to mess with it yet but I'm looking forward to trying it out. [moto]

Thanks again!

No problem, it was really my pleasure to be able to do this for everyone and I plan on putting more stuff together in the future. Nah, I wouldnt tell them to say that  [evil], today is my daughters birthday so I took off early.   ;D

Cool! Tell the Princess Happy Birthday!! How does she like the new b-day wheels?? Pretty neat if you ask me! [clap] Again, thanks bro' for the deal on the gear. It's appreciated! Just got the vest adjusted and the "chiily containers" in the freezer. [thumbsup]

I'm digging the vest. I'll never have to get up early to mow the lawn in the summer again! Life is good.
