Squid sightings

I see alot of them i central Indiana but a couple the other day took the cake.

The first was standard issue cruiser squid gear. It was a dude on a metric bike wearing a tank top, cut off shorts and...wait for it....wait for it...Flip Flops. I love flip flops but while riding. I've seen it a hundred times and if I see it a hundred more it will still make me shake my head.

The next guy surprised me. i was at the bank getting ready to don my helmet when I heard the unmistakable sound of v-twin glory. I looked about and say a guy on a beautiful 1098. His riding attire was a pair of shorts with a t shirt and shorts. Looked like he at least had shoes on. No helmet. I was sad to see such a glorious mount sullied by such an idiot.

Darwin will take car of them....Our modern society has robbed him of so many willing sacrifices, he needs to get collect his victims in new ways.

yeah u see a lot of that.
worst thing is...i ALWAYS wear my gear, but my buddy was selling his bike and we were washing it in front of his house...guys called and said they are lost getting there, so hes like lets go get them they are by the bank (which is literly down the street), so we just jump on bikes and leave (shorts and no helmet), i take a turn and see then on the right, press teh brake and whoa the whole bike just slides under me, hit a oil or some kinda oil spot...only broken mirror and leaking brake line, NOT ONE SCRATCH on the bike, i got a little road rash on my knee and elbow, it will never happen again that i go even 5 feet without all gear.
