She was sliding all over the place.  I saw these on Ebay but wanted to check with you guys/gals to see if there was a better way.

Oh, FWIW, Ive heard those things work pretty well too. But hopefully some other people will chime in with ideas. Good luck!

- I think I will.  I'll try to report back and let you guys know how it works out.

STOP! The ebay item is just a small section of kitchen cabinet and drawer liner. You can buy a yard of that stuff for less than ten bucks at Kmart, Walmart, etc, etc.

monostrack or some company like that sells a backrest in a trellis style frame. I sold one not to long ago. Very well made, price is in the $300's

I have the monstrack backrest. It's not pretty, but it solves the problem if your girlfriend is sliding out of the bike when you accelerate.

Pretty neat.  Thanks guys.  I'm gonna try the slip resistant cover first and see if that does the trick.

well my first thought was to get a second girlfriend to fill up the seat so nobody slides around.  /shrug

My girlfriend slides too. I decided to try having her sit up front w/ me and it actually made the bike handle better and wasn't terribly uncomfortable. On the stock seat there's plenty of space up front for 2 small people.  ;D
