I thought a new thread might make it easier to figure who's bringing what to the HC trip.
Let me know what you plan on bringing along for the group
Oh yeah you can send ICE info to WiWa as well [thumbsup]

Not much word from Jason (Murduc) so let's assume we're on our own for beerage and booze. We should get a shopping list of preferred beer.
hmmm... need to pick up some Real Ale Rye. And some Dunkel Weisse.
[evil] I'll be bringing Scotch whiskey - Balvenie probably because DesmoLu thinks we need some & so do I ! Does anyone have any great detailed maps of the area or am I showing my age & lack of GPS ? ???
If you can find Fredrickburg you can find KR.
Take 16 south and you go right by the camp site.
You can get some ride maps from the Mercantile there.
Ok after talking to Tommy I'm of the impression that this is going to be a must not miss event so, 1) Is there anymore room on someone's trailer for the REDULATOR? 2) Do I need to get my own room or bring the RV or a tent and ride the REDULATOR down like a true rough rider? If so I'm ready to share any expenses.

Now, as far as maps go, since that's what I do I can provide anyone with any kind of map you wish. Topo's a specialty. Like a 3D of the region? I can print out any size and length as far as it's anything up to 42" by 120".

We are trailering two bikes, taking Kevin848, and have one slot avaiable - but fyi- we are traveling there on Fri night and returning late Sunday - PM Tommy if you need a ride! ;)

I want a map that will help CJ and I avoid getting into discussions with hard core racist bbq people. Also, it should include Starbucks and pubs with interesting beers. and health food stores. and porn.
Thanks, man. You are rapidly approaching my top 20 people on this board....

You can do whatever hits you at the moment, that's how we roll...
This isn't an organized event, rather much more like a melee (not a malynn, that's different) with a common destination.
Some are going down Thursday, some returning Tuesday, Koyote has spots for RV's as well as tent camping (don't forget your pole!).
There's also the possibility that, hey, since we have motorcycles, we could ride down ;D

Patrick will tell you, the two aren't that different. [laugh]
Unless someone has a spot on a trailer available (leaving Friday a.m. / returning Monday), I'll be riding down.

Geez, forgot to say something about Porn, bigger the better! Should see my garage wall, well not exactly porn but tasteful trunk should we say.

RED does a good job of carrying my pole(s) ty. Like my old ass said earlier I used to do this ride several times a year and have longed for it again but just don't know how my tired old bonny assbone will hold up? It's hell being 108.

May have to discuss this over a latte. What??? ok a pint then. As far as the peep being railed here...I reserve the right to protect myself from bodily harm hence my silence.
Here's the map I made up for the last trip showing the more popular loops.

Working on it. Should have a few gallons available. Unfortunately, I have pretty much no days off between now and then. :-\
Racked a Pale Ale Monday morning when I got back from Colorado. Need to do some sampling and see what all is up to snuff. I think I might even have a couple of the requested beers. ;D
Though they will be first runs that have not been tweaked to my normal exacting standards, so may not be representative of the final products I hoped to have for the next spring run.edit
*Just in case anyone is wondering, custom glassware will not be provided on this run, so bring yourself a pint glass or other personal drinking vessel. I will try to bring a few extra's.*

Anyone riding down friday afternoon or is anyone actually still riding down at all?

FRIDAY at the crack of dawn...

Calscrazy and I will be departing my house between 8am and 9am. We'll be taking his truck, but you're welcome to follow if you don't want to join the SuperDuke caffeen express leaving a few hours earlier. Although - the SuperDuke convoy will probably make better time than following Calscrazy's truck. Then again, I could be wrong - I've never seen Chris drive anything with 4 wheels - he may be Mario Andretti.

There can be no mistake about it. RED's BBQ is best. (The Original Fort Worth Bar-B-Que Company). RED's BBQ i'm sure listed in Zagots!

Don't leave without me good buddy; I'll be there ready for some shots.... ;D
As far as list items: be sure everyone takes along some sort of kick stand puck, pad, crushed beer/pop can, or whatever. You'll be parking on many surfaces that will require these....
??? If I don't have what I need now - I'll buy it down there - No I'm not buying a classic Duc at Harvest Classic !! [laugh]
I managed to get my 5lb CO2 tank filled today at lunch, so that is one big item checked off on my list.
Still need to do some sampling and racking between now and Friday... :o
Looks like I might have 4 or possibly 5 beers. So say 20 to 25 gallons.
If anyone is picking up store bought, lean toward stouts. I won't have any this round. :-[
Don't forget to pack some of these goodies.... sign me up for the high intensity discharge headlamps.
