I picked these up from Redline in Yorktown, Va (won them off of ebay). The guy told me what they were but I can't seem to remember. I put them on Saturday afternoon and they sound great ;D. Their a little banged up but I got a great price on them. I just would like to know the name of them. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm...could be...but that is not what he said...I guess I should contact him again.
My guess is also just modified stock cans. Looks like he took the stock ones and cut them down a lot and just made that name plate from the sections that was cut off - since the stockers come with 'ducati' stamped on them just like that. All he had to do was cut it out and rivet it on. It's a DIY job, not something from another manufacturer
Alright...I could have done this myself with the stock pipes...Damn!!! I thought I got the deal of the century LOL!!! I appreciate the feedback!!!
Look like it to me.

always good to do your research BEFORE you buy.
I'm curious too - what did the seller list them as? And if you want to share, how much was this?

Man I need to stop drinking beer and getting on ebay [drink]. It says right there clear as day [bang]:
"This is a pair of used custom Ducati monster exhausts. The cans on these were cut short to enhance the sound and performance. Total retail for these two parts is $1671.68 new and we have other used ones for you to check out. Don't let this pass you by!"
I paid $102.50...They sound cool so I guess I should be really happy.
:o $1671.68 new,
If you like the way they sound, that what it is all about..!! [thumbsup]
"$1671.68 new" is accurate. If you went to a Duc shop and asked them to price a set of the OEM cans they are about $800 each give or take. Of course we know that not market price, since a pair of OEM cans in basically new condition will only fetch about $100 on ebay.
Oh well. YOu saved some considerable hassle on doing the cutting yourself, so that's worth something. I say give them a sanding, hit them with a new coat of high temp paint and enjoy
They even have the US noise compliance stamping on them. Cored, shortened stock cans.
They look cool enough. be happy with them. Or Not....
are those supposed to be black widow shaped bits on the can?
if so, they could at least be red ;)
drill out all the rivets and reshoot the cans with a new coat of paint, and the replace rivets with alum or stainless so they won't rust. Sell you stockers for $100 and you're set.
Strip off the paint and then polish them up to a great shine [thumbsup]
All opinion now, but mine is with 55Spy. refresh that paint and be happy. Assuming you have a black bike?
I do have a black bike and I need to fibure out how to get them apart so I can paint them. I am very happy with them. I went out and started the bike last night and just listened to it. I can't wait for the weekend to get out and ride.

Nice looking bike. [thumbsup]
My fav color scheme.
It really accents the sweet frame the Monsters are known for.

You'll need to take a drill to the rivets to get it all apart, then you'd need to rivet it back together.
Might be easier just to mask it off and paint them as complete pieces.

Thank you...I am quite partial to it myself.

That sounds like a plan. I'm not sure if I have the know how or skill to take something apart and put it back together well...LOL!!!
I think they look cool too!!! I'm not the type to make something so pretty you're afraid to ride it though! Some homemade mods are my fav, anyone can take it to the dealership and get some part replacement, no one else will have cans exactly like yours though!! [thumbsup]

+1, I just masked mine off. Real easy, way better than bothering with the rivets.

I did not use rivets, I just used screws and they did work pretty good too.

With a black dot on the belly [cheeky]
I would definately repaint or strip and polish. Give it a nice finished look.
look like stock remus cans to me...
the ron [evil]
Looks like they were clearing out the tinman props from the "Wizard of Oz."

That's my suggestion, the stock cans actually polish up nice.
Looks like a decent core job, so I don't think you really overpaid. Just clean them up, should be good pipes.
Justin
I snapped some pics with my phone to show what they look like on the bike.

I vote get high temp paint and black the whole cans and pipes out or just leave the tips chrome and black out the rest.
Bike looks great.
I don’t have pictures of it, however, when I did my 620’s, I actually removed the aluminum body can off, and just left them with the inside lining, it has a polished look originally, and they don’t look as thick., You may want to see if it is possible on yours
