:o
Wow.
Where did you find this?
What's this going on and what kind of #'s does this thing put out?
I'm not a fan of turbos or sc on motos but meh, to each their own. [drink]
Was looking at a paso site then there it was. from a finnish tunerhouse
Looks well made.
i fully expected to see bent valves, or a shat crankcase, maybe a piston with a hole in it... i did not expect to see that unholy beast of a motor.
Looks like it runs off the layshaft rollers? I would like to know what they did to the layshaft, its kind of weak from the factory.
Interesting use of the triple. ;D
you'd think with all that fancy motor work, they'd have it on a proper stand or at least the cradle.
Yeah, I can just see that thing slipping and falling, shattering in several pieces.
That would really be a "blown motor." [laugh]
I wonder if during a tuck, this thing would try to suck your brain through your nose

Same here!
That is impressive though.
Wonder if it could be modded for a 2V...Hmmmmm.....
Seems like the sort of beast that would add weight and shatter cranks and cases if given half the chance :o
Wasn't there talk of converting one "piston" into an air pump during the supermono design (as opposed to the simple balancing weight they came up with instead)?
I'm not a big fan of coming of the layshaft like that... similar to what sprintex did, but a small clutch arrangement was used on the layshaft incase of SC lockup..

on the squallo, SC was driven by the clutch

Don't like #2 and #3.
Silver air-cooled Monster, very nice! [thumbsup]
Running open belts too. ;D
Raux - was the Finnish tuning house PrätkäPaja Myynti?

none of them are shown finished.
google 'super squalo' for a look at the last one. you might even see me testing it at the drag strip on youtube...

Yup. The V-One: http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2009/01/12/ducati-v-one-twin-to-supercharged-single-conversion/ (http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2009/01/12/ducati-v-one-twin-to-supercharged-single-conversion/)

Looks like it's extended and run through that brace. Assuming the material were up for the torsion, I'd think their design would be stronger than from the factory just because the shaft is supported outboard of the bearings/seal, which is usually the weak link.
Ah... that makes sense.

There was a thread in I think the tech section a few years ago where someone had done just that. Don't recall what Duc motor he used but there were some outlandish performance claims, which I didn't believe. Never heard anything more about it.
Couple of weeks ago I saw a turbo charged Diavel :o

Looks perfect for NASCAR (less the Glen and Infineon)
