Title: The Unheathy Food Thread
Post by: Monsterlover on September 30, 2012, 06:58:33 PM
I want to know what bad things you've eaten and survived.

And by bad I mean not good for you.

My latest visit to subway:

Only one guy working and he had a grudge against the place. The owner suspended him for something lame and he was getting revenge. He made two awesome looking steak subs for the guy in front of us and I had to have one.

Flatbread
melted cheese
Roast beef
four heaping scoops of shreaded steak
More melted cheese
6 or 8 strips of bacon
lettuce, tomato, pickle
Mayo, about three times what id normally get

Id guess 1200+ calories after the two oatmeal raisin cookies and most of two cherry cokes.

10 minutes later I was questioning my decision. As we walked around Walmart for groceries I was paying close attention to the situation. If 1 was "green lights across the board" and 10 was "in the bathroom doing a great impression of a space shuttle launch" I was a solid 5 and not sure which way things would go.

Rootchicks advice: "walk it off" [laugh]

I figure if I did what I did to myself at Dimby and didn't barf I should be able to contain this steaktacular sub.

So far so good ;D

There's a relatively new restaurant in town appropriately named Fat Shack. They're open until 3am and they deliver.

My personal favorites are the Fat Chance (cheesesteak, chicken fingers, jalapeno poppers, french fries and buffalo ranch sauce on an 8" or 12" hoagie roll) and the Fat Stimpy (cheesesteak, onion rings, jalapeno poppers, french fries, and honey jalapeno mustard).

They have one sandwich called the Fat Shack. Cheesesteak, chicken fingers, jalapeno poppers, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, french fries and your choice of sauce. If you can eat 3 of their 8" Fat Shack sammiches you get your picture on the wall of fame and a free t shirt or something.

I'll take a picture next time I get one.

Minor detail.  All he'll need is a healthy stand-in or pinch hitter.

Sure. I'll be in Kansas City the 20th of this month to run a half marathon. Just bring the paperwork?

Had one in September, including a full blood panel.

According to the lab, my liver is in much more danger than my arteries, and even those numbers are half what they were a year ago.
