at 1st...I was thinking it was in England since he was on the "other" side of the road....I guess not....flippin idiot!
Oz - I think. The filmer is on the proper side of his road
ow, ow, ow. I hate that feeling of knowing The Badness is going to happen. You have just enough time to say "NOOOOOOOOO" with maybe an extra moment to think "this shit is gonna hurt"

White line marking two-way traffic says it's definitely not in the US. I didn't detect an Oz accent in any of the "dialogue" though. ;D

Having played Rugby, one got to hear excited Aussies swearing from time to time - seems right to me. But it isn't clear for sure. Our options look to be UK, Oz or NZ. English is the first lang, forresty and drive on the left
How very American of me, thinking that he was on the wrong side of the road.
I'll make a deal with you we will learn the metric system if you start driving on the right side of the road.
Regardless of which side of the street it was the guy that hit me better hope I am hurt enough to not get up. Few things piss me off more than having my life put in danger by an idiot.
The slow mo really shows bad guy succumbing to target fixation. [bang]
You can almost hear his thoughts of Ooooo make the beast with two backs im going to hit him and giving up.
He could of counter steered and thrown his weight more off the bike into the lean and not hit go-pro guy.
Australian yes. Looks like Mount Nebo near Brisbane, Queensland. A few of the corners up there have recommended speed signs that are totally wrong and can catch unsuspecting riders out. Dude was lucky in a way it was another bike he hit and not a car.
Probably a new rider too I'm guessing... looks to be riding a cbr250r

Good spot.
looked like a scooter to me. I could be wrong tho - only watched it once cause who wants to see that multiple times??

Not a scooter, but why would that matter?
guess it really doesnt matter, but I've always avoided scooters like the plague, assuming they have no idea what so ever what they're doing...
i dunno, just always see them rippin around on them in flip flops and shorts and stuff like that like they have no idea they can fall over.
maybe it's just a generalization. someone made a similar observation about it being a 250cc though
As obvious to most, a classic example of target fixation result. Obviously the bad guy was a new riders because I doubt that he would survive many miles with his technique, situation awareness, etc. What surprises me is that it obviously did not take place in the U.S. I have been reminded several times how lax our motorcycle license/operator permit was as compared to most other countries. I guess it goes to show ya that our motorcycle avocation is hazardous, regardless of continent. Accept the risk, mitigate the risk, anticipate, and then hope that you have not outrun your angel. :)
I do hope the downed rider healed without complications.
Now I will return to looking for scooters and and getting pissed off at idiots. ;)
why is it the 250 R? Is this some special racing edition? Nope, its just the 250. [thumbsdown]

Yes - there's a thread on this video already! I proactively absolve myself of the Derby by acknowledging it ;D - but figure that it's kind of relevant here.
Moto rear ends bicycles - total target fixation

yeah mucho dangerous spot to crack your noggin. Hard hit back there in the wrong spot - and you're blind.
Yeah, bad crash, too bad, etc. Anyone notice the still photographer? I tried but couldn't avoid target fixating on her. [evil]
