As obvious to most, a classic example of target fixation result. Obviously the bad guy was a new riders because I doubt that he would survive many miles with his technique, situation awareness, etc. What surprises me is that it obviously did not take place in the U.S. I have been reminded several times how lax our motorcycle license/operator permit was as compared to most other countries. I guess it goes to show ya that our motorcycle avocation is hazardous, regardless of continent. Accept the risk, mitigate the risk, anticipate, and then hope that you have not outrun your angel. 

I do hope the downed rider healed without complications.

Now I will return to looking for scooters and and getting pissed off at idiots.
