I posted a farewell thread on the TOB. I left a reference to this site for others to follow.
Within 10 minutes my post was edited to eliminate the reference and locked so no one could reply.

I can still log in but that probably won't last much longer.

  I just got a PM from a member asking for the link here. I sent a PM back with the link and even the PM was censored.
I got it to him thru e-mail, (grappa) is on his way.

It amuses me that a website that's 75% ads for leather chaps and tattoo parlors has the audacity to ban individuals for "spamming".

They got me too.  I also posted a farewell message with the address here spelled out with spaces between the letters.

It was not for nought! I believe it was your post I happened upon during the brief time it was up. I hadn't checked the DML for months but when I checked today there, amongst the screaming banners, was your post. Shining like a beacon it guided me here.

Strange to think that I actually met my now wife on a site that exists now in name only.

Got your message, found the board, got logged in, THANKS!    It makes such a huge difference not being constantly assaulted with ads.  Love the new board!   be::  Sorry you had to get banned for me, but I am eternally grateful.

I hadn't logged in over there for a week or more and tried to yesterday and I found I don't have access anymore? WTF? 

  They had e-mailed me because there were positive threads about our business and parts and they wanted us to become paid advertisers.. I politely declined, and I guess that wasn't good enough for them.
