Hubba hubba!! That's awesome!! [thumbsup] [bacon]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

That's just down the road from me.  You wouldn't believe the number of deer that are wandering around in this area.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Ok, seeing Rat's post got me thinking.  Let's say that you're in the market to pick up a new(ish) M1A.  Which one would you go with and why if your choices were a SOCOM-16, an M1A Scout or a NM?

Just bought a muzzleloader.

TC Triumph Bone Collector. This gun has almost no kick!

Might trade my rifle for this during the regular season.
Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

I'd love a SOCOM but just can't rationalize it (gee, imagine that comment coming from me! [bang] [popcorn] [bacon]) money-wise since I already have an older 16" barrel "Jungle rifle" with factory camo fiberglass stock and a couple of NM M1As that are great shooters. If I had the $$ I'd love to add a SOCOM with an Aimpoint to the list. [thumbsup] Why? Ahhhh... why not? ;D

I like Thompson Centers but can't stand the "bone collector" ad campaign......reminds me too much of the paulie jr Coleman grills.  Post up a review after you shoot it!  Do you use pellets or loose powder?  100 grains?

I have an old, blued Knight that shoots very consistently.  Love to get a new style, break action in stainless but cant justify it yet.   The Savage smokeless powder muzzle loader is awesome!

Best way to go especially if you are on a budget...get the basic barreled and head-spaced action/receiver from LRB

and then add the rest of your parts as time and budget and search allow...

you may pay more overall doing it piece meal

but you will spread out the wallet-shock over a more accommodating period of time

LRB is about 20 minutes from my NY house so I drop in on them at least once a month or so if I'm here

I still chew on getting a muzzle loader...if/when I do it will be a Whitworth sniper repro...the one that shoots octagonal bolts

forget which maker's version is the better of the choices but here's an example
