Just wanted to share..
As promised, here are pics of my Dark 696 with some new mods.

 Same exact bike although I yanked off the reflectors the day I brought it home. I also prefer no heat shields and I took off the evap canister and cut the shroud around it to clean that up. Oh ya, I took off all the stickers on the frame except the one on the right side, it might go too.

How much did you pay for the CF heat guards?

Those are definitely on my mod list along with the short tail kit

I probably will add them I the 600 service

I have heard that the short tail kit is not available in the US yet, where did you order it from?

Looking great  The CF heat guards definitely add to the look! Do post pics after the short tail kit's installed.

So, when are the mirrors and canister gonna disappear

yes, it's 2006 with competition package ZCP

Well now that you have it looking like it should (I just couldn't deal with the exhaust) and you don't mind riding a ways to get here, you can tag someday if ya want... that is if you don't mind riding with a ST3 (wingman's).

We primarily head to the coast but when it ain't too hot we stomp around Berryessa/Butts Canyon/Goldmine Road/175 a lot....
