I just got this bike a month ago and can't seem to identify the rearsets. Any ideas? Also, if you look closely at the pic, you'll see some venting hoses running down near the pipes just in front of the rear wheel. Should I reroute these? I'm worried that whatever is coming out of them might make a slippery mess for the rear wheel, and that the hoses are getting melted by the pipes. New to motorcycles, so any help is appreciated.

not sure on the rearsets... might help with some upclose photos

the tubes look like they went to the charcoal canister, maybe. it's an emissions thing that a lot of people remove.

At least one, maybe both those hoses are gas overflow.
They are usually routed between the stock rearsets and engine block - just outside the pipes.

You can put a bolt in one of the no-longer-in-use holes on your engine block and secure the hoses to it. Leave enough slack in the hoses to allow the tank to be lifted without pinching/stretching the hoses.

From the photo they look like the drain tubes from the carb float bowls.

Yes, except I think the have been mo...oh! never mind.  I just looked at the photo again.  They are still there.

The hoses in question are indeed the gas overflow lines. I rerouted them inside the swingarm and away from the pipes where they were getting fried.
