You need to shift that unsightly rego sticker someplace else though, too nice a bike to let officaldom ugly up the finery. You'll find over time that in the spot the dealer attached it that wind will vibrate the hard plastic and it will leave small wear marks on the paint.

I have an 2010 M1100 and if the frame is still the same you can use 4" cable ties to attach it to the frame on the left directly under the seat where your left leg would go, then it can be pushed back (from the bottom of the rego holder) up under the seat so it's hardly visible but if you get pulled over, a quick pull down correction when you get off the bike will position it right back in view. Works for me.

Time for the first service now.
Getting the feel for a lighter bike again.
Last bike was pushing 360 kg, and ran a 260 rear.

The envelope is just so much bigger on this bike, it is taking time to remember to flow the corners.
On the road to Seymour from Yea, managed to hold it at a steady 130kmh pretty much all the way, even 70kmh advisory corners seem to flow in front of you, and leave room for corrections. Corners become curves. Roundabouts are places to play, rather than places to fear.

Still got some (small) chicken strips, but with some more seat time, the bike will be leaning and steaming plenty more.
Time to change old habits and styles, and get some more riding instruction.
No issues at all with the bike, loving that engine noise at high rpm.
Hopefully no tickets in the mail!

You greatly underestimate the amount of overconfidence I have.
