Royal Enfield is coming out with their first all new bike in over 50 years.  The engine is only an updated version of the current unit construction design (which debuted a few years ago), the double-loop steel frame, suspension, wheels, bodywork, headlight and all other major parts are new designs.

Sweet.  I hope it's affordable.  Great little scoot for around town.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Great looking machine

I wish they would make the 750 twin as an alternative to the thumper

I would actually consider one

I'd love to get kicked by that kick start.  Assuming it's a 500 single it could give a healthy knee jerker  :)  Maybe with newer electronic ignitions and such those things won't happen any more.........

All these retro bikes are starting to look exactly alike. You have 100 years of motorcycle models, pick different years!

I like the look of that, would'nt take much to customise, I wonder what the minister for finances would say if it turned up in my shed, you know, just looking after it for a mate  ;)

As long as you don't actually try riding any of them.  :) :) :)

The Rickman was OK though. Had one of those myself. When the show first came out, I thought they'd dig up legitimate period cafe bikes. There were plenty. Instead, they make these Frankensteins. Very disappointing...
