What the hell is "Reverse Curves?"  I know what the sign was telling me, but that's the first time I've heard that verbiage. ???

AKA an "S" curve but "reverse curve" is the engineering term.

I had never heard of a "reverse curve" before either. Are there then "correct" or "forward" curves?

it just means that it curves one way and then immediately curves the opposite way -- an S surve
