The group kept getting bigger and bigger.  We went from two tables to four, I think.  Glad the trackmasters came by after a hard day of riding fast and taking chances.  Thanks to our secret benefactor for the outstanding tequila shots! 

It was just as well we didn't work too hard to figure out where to go watch the Stars playoff game.  By the time I got home, debriefed the wife, and channel surfed for the game, it was already over.  Better luck next game Dallas....

you were missing out on that tequilla, alan....good stuff.  thanks Ashok!  i saw some hooligan fly by me on I30 near beltline...he must have been doing at *least* 75, maybe 80!  and then this guy in this bigass pickup with some white bike in the bed was driving like a maniac and nearly kills right at the exit ramp on I30 for I35.  i'm seriously lucky to have made it home in one piece.

and i had some free entertainment after getting home; i heard a bunch of yelling around 10pm out on the street (i'm on 13), which wasn't abnormal for a thursday night (i figured maybe the stars came from behind and won?)...finally i leaned out of my window and tried to see what was going on, and saw a huge gaggle of people near city tavern, photo flashes going off, people running towards the gaggle from the other side of the street, tv cameras, etc...i thought maybe there was one of the Stars players making an appearance, but then i remembered that it was an away game...  a couple minutes later i figured out what was going on... they were doing an episode of "cheaters".  awesome!  i got to see the whole confrontation go down, too.  no fights or anything i could see, just yelling and swearing (it's nice to finally hear cheaters without the "bleeps").  the people at city tavern were loving it.  they got to sit outside drinking beers and watching it all go down, and then heckle them!  what a sweet deal...  oh, and i met my downstairs neighbor, who was also leaning out of her window.  good times!   wt:

awesome! cheaters!  guess no stabbings eh?

Looks like a fun time!  I sure missed out.  Wish I could have made it!

damn it the one time i can't show and we get a really good crowd.  :bang      oh well! I WILL NOT MISS NEXT TIME!!!!
