Let's hope HD doesn't include themselves as interested. They screwed Eric after all.  The only plus would be dealers everywhere do that just in case moment

Sounds unlikely after their experience buying MV.

Don't count on that, when Buell was being sold by HD dealers in my area, they still had attitudes about Buell bikes.  They sold them at the dealership but service made owners feel like second class citizens.

Funny how bankers value Facebook north of $100 Billion, but Ducati is only worth around $1.3 Billion plus debt.  :o
Perhaps our DMF founders would take this forum/company IPO then use the proceeds to buy Ducati holding and some beers. I value DMF a flat $2 billion. Any potential DMF investors out there?

They should sell off a stake, including no more than 25% stock, and then float another 25% stock.

I had Ducati stock the last time and would buy it again just to be able to go to the shareholder meetings..

However, if it's HK--i'm not flying there...

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I would go if it weren't a 20-25 hour flight.  last time i went was memphis - anchorage - narita - hk.  i felt like a beat up wet box when i got off the plane and that was business class.
