Finally decided to change the shape of my seat.

removed cover

glue foam pad on

used carving knife & cheese grater (parmesan of coarse) to shape

slippery dip now gone

refit cover, made sure front corners & rear were in the same place as before,
pulled sides down, went trigger happy with the staple gun, finished.
much easier than I thought & cover sits in original position, first ride I now sit
where I want to with out sliding against tank (did feel good on occasions)
comfort not perfect (need time for my boney arse to soften foam)
but cover would have enough give for another thin layer of foam if needed

Good work Paul.
I have been thinking of doing the same but in reverse for the Tenere.
Seat a bit high and wide.
I have a little more confidence at tackling it now.

Great work mate, what type of foam and where did you get it?
Would be good to get rid of the late model Nut crusher seat.
Cheers
