Anybody ride with the Shoei Neotec modular helmet?

Did a search and can't find any posts about the Shoei Neotec modular helmet.  I'm in the market for a new helmet and will only ride with a full face helmet.  I have an old Arai that is in excellent shape but just want something new.  The Shoei Neotec has really caught my eye.  Reason being is because I was talking to a friend of mine and his girlfriend is a paramedic.  She was saying with the modular type of helmet it's much easier for the paramedics to stabilize the neck and maintain an airway.  Of course, I don't plan on crashing, but it's better to plan for the worst and hope for the best.  Does anybody ride with this helmet?  How is the noise level compared to a 'normal' full face helmet?  Does the drop down smoke visor work well?  Any gripes?

Here's a rather long video of a review of the helmet...looks like it could be good.

That's their new modular and it just came to market recently so probably not too many folks have one yet.

hmmmm, that C3 sounds like it's better than the shoei.

I picked up the Neotec a couple of months ago.  It's pretty quiet for a modular, much quieter than my old HTC IS-Max-BT but probably not as quite as a full face.  The flip down sun visor works pretty well, it doesn't completely close all the way, there is about a 1 inch gap at the bottom of the visor.  I guess so you can see your gauges.

My only complaint would be the ventilation could be better, airflow through the vents isn't that great.

Also, double check your size.  I usually wear a medium and bought a medium originally and had to exchange it after a few days because it was too damn tight and giving me headaches.  There's some serious padding in this thing.

Overall, a good quality helmet, latch and hinges are very smooth, lightweight.
