or just carry more speed before hitting the easement and roll up with ease, and if you are a lil too fast, you certainly have the brake power to stop !!!

Found a bonus goodie while going over things last night. Well two really. The good one was an aftermarket cotton gauze filter, the bad was that a 3x6 plastic bag was stuck in the filter. Ooops.

Here she is with the clothes off - Sorry for the cell pix.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

Got the rather icky brake fluid(s) changed out, tensioned the chain, installed radiator guards (deal with resulting smoke from spilled coolant), gave it an over all check and took it out for it's frist spin!  [Dolph]

It'll take some getting used to, but I like it. Nimble little bugger!

I just picked up a 2010 690 Enduro R.  Used with only 1875 miles on it, looks practically like new.   Loving it so far.

Do wish I'd been able to get an R.. the orange frame is hot. But mine came with a full SuMo setup, SMC wheels w/ sprockets and cush drives, monoblock caliper, 2nd master, 320mm rotor. So it's not a bad trade for some orange.

I got in w/ a free email.  They are a little paranoid over there.  Great group of people, but the rules are different.

Another good resource I've found is supermotojunkie.com. Obviously dedicated to SuMo but as the 690 SMC and Enduro are mostly the same it's handy. And a number of folks cross conver the E with 17" wheels.

So my fellow villains - any feelings on springs? At just shy of 200 I bet I'm under sprung.

I've got nuthin' either.  I'm on an EXC and I prob weigh 175-180 w/ gear so I'm right in KTM's stock spring range.
Sounds like a perfect first post over there.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

They need the whole pie. haven't been in the 160s since freshman year of college and I was a skinny cuss at that weight.
