Hey have you guys seen the NHTSA recall No. 12V073 for 2011~12 Ducati Monsters surrounding the possibility of wheel cracks?

  Does this affect only the USA? Is my UK supplied Evo at risk? Better call my dealer!

Probably not. For giggles just checked my 796 with the same rim size and it's a DOT marked rim. Doesn't say "DU6-RR" anywhere on mine? Does it on yours?

I looked too. I was not able to find any DU6-RR marking anywhere, in my 2012 1100 EVO ...

I just checked my Evo and didn't see that code anywhere on the wheel.  I had to wait for the 2nd shipment to get my black one though. 

  I'll check tomorrow. It's saturday night, and I'm on my 4th beer!

wonder if those are the Enkei rims or Marchesini

The code is inside the wheel center - port side - wheel off to see it.

  In that case, I'll wait for Ducati to contact me (or not).

Believe it's the Enkeis. Ducati has problems with Monster fuel lines also.
