I had Yuuki from "The Shins" in the car last week. He was in Portland for as he described it "band practice". I did not charge him for the ride and he asked why. I told him his music brings pleasure to millions of people its time someone did something nice for him. He smiled, said thank you and told me to always be me.

Hey everyone, Had quite a night last night with one thing and another there was lots of laughing until.....
I was stopped at a red light when a drunk driver ploughed into me. I went to hospital with a neckstrain/whiplash and also shock .I have not slept , I feel like crap, my shoulder feels odd I have a headache and all I have done today is walk around in a daze and go back to my room and cry.
The drunk was arrested and charged-he me hit pretty hard and pushed my cab( a crown victoria police interceptor )thru the intersection
